Establishing Bible Authority

The authority of Christ revealed by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament must be understood to be applied. God’s methods of communication are the same as those with which He has equipped us, and whereby we communicate. By direct statement or command, approved example, and necessary inference (inescapable conclusion) Christ has clearly conveyed His will to us. These methods of communication are not man’s tradition, but are clearly observed within the Bible.
